| John's surgery went really well...
The Doctor was able to take care of the bulging disc that was pinching his nerve...so hopefully in a few days, the incision site won't be sore anymore, and he'll be able to move around a bit easier. please keep him in your prayers, he's hurting pretty bad tonight.
well, since i've been home from the bike trip, not much has really happened...i've been at the hospital resting with John...It's been a blessing in disguise, i suppose...Being able to sit for a few hours and not work has worked wonders for my sore leg muscles. (85 miles on a road bike will do that for you...)

| thank goodness, this semester turned out to be my best one yet academically.
i worked my tail off.
...i think i'm going to have to take it easier next semester...i'm burned out.

this whole working at kirkland's thing is stressing me out somewhat...i know it doesn't make much sense...but i've already been there what, 4 days? and i'm exhausted. i think it's just because i never really gave myself much of a break in between finishing finals and starting a job that's pretty much full time.
poor john, i've been taking frustration out on him. i feel awful about that. 
for some reason i just can't sleep, even though i have to be up for work in a matter of hours. faaaantastic.
oh well, that just means i'll sleep even better tomorrow night i suppose. yay, right?

bike trip in a week! less than a week now!! i'm so excited. the group is riding from paragould to st. louis. longest ride yet!!! we're planning to meet up with a group that's going to be riding from Purdue University and make it a bigger thing than it has been in years. (their group has been doing it the same number of years! who would've thought, right?) so, look out people. if you don't want to be blinded by my incredibly white legs in spandex pants i suggest you stay away from the paragould/st. louis area...and everywhere in between. haha.
aaaand...delta PRIDE is in july!!!! gosh, this year is gonna rock...i'm so pumped.
i suppose that's all i have for now. i'll most likely be back after a while...because i'll be bored during my insomnia. blah. | | |
